Lew is an accomplished, versatile talent both in front of and behind the camera...

As a screen writer, Lew has written for live action as well as animation ("Smooze and the Holiday Adventures", "Terrible Twos") - major network episodic television ("Miami Vice") as well as feature films ("For God and Country"). In fact, Lew is a two time Crystal Reel Award Winner for Best Script: "Soulwalker" (1998), "For God & Country" (1999). Lew has recently signed agreements with Starlord Entertainment to produce films and television projects written by Lew. Among the board members are Bud Grant (former president of CBS), John Schofield (major film producer: "Jerry McGuire", "As Good As It Gets", "Ali", "Enemy at the Gate"), Dave DeVore (major record producer for Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Guns N Roses), Tommy Trbovich (award winning director: "We Are the World" Video, Directed the "Emmy Awards", Directed the "Grammy Awards", 45 episodes of "Laverne and Shirley", Directed "Black Crowes" Videos, and over 250 other episodes of network television), Kristy McNichol (Emmy Award winning actress), Jimmy McNichol (25 year acting and music career), and Bill Ellis (producer of the original "Star Search" and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous").

As a director, Lew has directed projects in multiple media, ranging from theatre to corporate videos to industrials, music videos and television projects. Currently, Lew is directing the television series "Nightshade", a show described as "The Twilight Zone" meets "Creep Show". He has several movies slated for his directing skills in the near future as well.

Lew's acting experience both on stage and on the set, along with his perspective as a writer, director and producer, has helped him to become an outstanding acting coach. He works both with groups and private individuals, teaching on-camera acting techniques specific to film television and commercials. His auditioning instruction has been quite instrumental in helping new talent to win work in the industry. A primary reason for teaching actors is that Lew hopes to find and train new talent for his own film and television projects, including those to be done with "Starlord Entertainment".

As a producer, Lew is President/CEO of Vision Quest Films, Casting America Productions, and Magical Minds Animation. He is also the co-owner and CEO of Starlord Entertainment, a new production company which prospectively includes on its Board of Directors the industry luminaries mentioned earlier. His companies own 41 television and film properties -- many written by Lew, including four animated television series which they are presently in the process of funding. The animated series include "Otter Island", "Roger's World" and "Bratpack". Included among his film projects are "When Angels Die", "Soulwalker", "Crimson" and "If I Were God". A major project is the new reality television series, Casting America. Its web site can be found at: http://castingmerica.tv. Lew is not only writing and directing the "Nightshade" television series but is one of the producers.

As a vocalist and composer, Lew has written over 800 songs (music and lyrics), appeared on the "Tonight Show" singing 2 of his compositions, and won a recording contract with Shelter Records. Lew played numerous appearances throughout the country, while writing the lyrics and music to "Cleo", a musical that he intends to produce on Broadway someday.

Lew is also an accomplished and well known photographer, with national and international credits. His work has appeared in over three hundred publications on a repeated basis. He served as the exclusive photographer for "Metro" (New York), the number one provider of stock photos in America to major newspaper and magazine houses. There he shot every type of print ad imaginable. He has worked in the following styles: high fashion, commercial print, lifestyle, stock, swim wear, catalog, sports wear, fitness, artistic, lingerie, Playboy style, glamour, bridal, theme, industrial, editorial, specialty parts, goth, alternative, and corporate. In recent years, he has primarily reserved his photo work for packaging and training new and rising print models, on a highly selective basis, helping them to put together high quality portfolios, while teaching them photo movement -- for moderate prices.

Lew is President/Founder of Casting America and has been the owner of several model/talent agencies, including Elan, Looks International, Looks Models, Aventura Models and Elan International.

In 1999, CBS News put together a highly complimentary piece covering Lew's successful work with talent through Casting America. He was also featured in an article in "Lifestyles Magazine".

Lew has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association; is a member of NATPE (The National Association of Television Programming Executives); was Crystal Reel Awards Chairperson (1997); a member of the International Model and Talent Association; Executive Vice President of the Bahamian Worldwide Guild of Variety Artists; Twice named to "Who's Who Among Leading America Executives" and once to "Who's Who in American Entertainment"-- and recently was named to "Who's Who in America -- 2003" and the "International Who's Who".
